AHOSKIE — The Ahoskie Recreation Department is sponsoring a Football Basic Fundamentals Clinic July 14-15.

The clinic is open to aspiring football players, ages eight to 12, and will be held each day from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on the practice field of Hertford County High School.

The clinic will feature Chowan University Head Football Coach Tim Place, Bertie High School Head Football Coach Greg Watford and Hertford County High School assistant coaches Ronald Weaver and Ronald Gatling.

The clinic is free.
