The Beaver Lake Ski Club will host the Beaver Lake Challenge Water Ski Tournament on Saturday and Sunday, June 12-13th, at Beaver Lake in Gates County.

The event will consist of competition in Slalom, Tricks and Jump. Amateur skiers of all ages and abilities will be participating. Skiers from North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland and Delaware are expected to attend.

Entry is open to the public also, with current USAWaterSki membership. Slalom competition will be all morning starting at 8 a.m. The Trick and Jump events will be in the afternoon. The public is invited to attend and admission is free. Concessions will be available on site.

Beaver Lake is located on Highway 13/158 in Gates County, two miles north of the Chowan River Bridge, between Ahoskie and Suffolk.
