AHOSKIE – Looking for a way to profit from yard sale items, crafts, flowers/plants or fresh fruits and vegetables?

Well, No Man’s Land Park in downtown Ahoskie may prove the place to be.

Ahoskie town officials have announced plans to set aside the first Saturday of every month, beginning in June, for the public to use the park to sell items.

According to Ahoskie Mayor Linda Blackburn, vendors (crafts, flowers/plants, fruits and vegetables) will be allowed to set-up tables at the park and sell their wares. This service will be available at no charge.

The spaces are confined to inside the park, meaning vendors are prohibited from using nearby streets or sidewalks to transact business.

Spaces will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis and vendors are required to register prior to the first Saturday of each month from June through the fall.

To register, simply call (332-5146) or stop by the Ahoskie Town Hall.
