MURFREESBORO – For citizens who are concerned with animal welfare and protection, June 26 is your opportunity to help make a difference.
PAWS (Protecting Animals worth Saving) of Hertford County will hold an introductory and informative meeting at 7pm
Monday June 26, in the Murfreesboro Town Hall.
The recently formed animal advocacy society is currently looking to increase its membership as it approaches the July 1 start date for their cooperative effort with the Hertford County Animal Shelter.
The organization has a two-tiered membership structure which allows for certain members to work with and around the animals while others can assist in areas such as fundraising and public relations.
Officers and committee coordinators will present an overview of the organization’s goals, needs and achievements at the meeting as well as answer any questions.
The meeting is open to any and all interested parties.
