Lottie Lawrence Cullipher

COLERAIN – Lottie Lawrence Cullipher, 95, passed away at Hospice of Wake County on Friday, January 13, 2012.
She was the daughter of John Lawrence and Lottie Bonham Lawrence of Colerain and lived in Colerain for 88 years. She attended East Carolina and Chowan College. She retired from Bertie County Schools in 1982. At the time of her death she was the oldest living member of Colerain Baptist Church.
She was the widow of Louis Arnold Cullipher, Sr. who passed away in 1961. She was also predeceased by her sister, Helen Hughes Harrell; and her brother, John Lawrence.
She moved to the Raleigh area in 2005 to be near her sons and is survived by them and their families: Louis Arnold Cullipher, Jr. and his, wife, Diane; and Thomas Lawrence Cullipher; and her grandsons; Louis Arnold Cullipher, III (Arnie) of Wilmington and wife, Tracy Tang, Thomas Lawrence Cullipher Jr. (Tommy) of Raleigh, Worth Cullipher of Youngsville and Brad Cullipher of Tampa, Florida.
Graveside services were held Monday, January 16, 2012 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Colerain conducted by Dr. Danny Bright and the Rev. Don Roberts.

Our beloved “Honey” as we all called her will always be remembered as selfless, caring and loving and her presence in our lives will be greatly missed.
