“It is Chowan’s highest spring enrollment since the Spring of 1972, which was 1,300,” explained Provost Dr. Danny Moore. “As a result, this is a record-breaking enrollment for Chowan as a four-year institution.”

Spring enrollment has increased 82.6 percent since Dr. Christopher White’s first spring semester in 2004 – with growth in undergraduate student retention, growth in the Adult Degree Program, and growth in Chowan’s Graduate School. This spring’s Commencement ceremony, scheduled for May 5th, will also be the first class of graduating Master’s Degree recipients.
