HILLSBOROUGH – Melvetta Martin along with Laquitta, Sharnitta and Kedarion Fennell announce the marriage of their mother, Phyllis Vinson-Martin, to Melvin E. Martin.

The couple was united in marriage on Jan. 28 in Hillsborough.

The groom is the son of Clyde Martin of Murfreesboro and Florence Martin of Greensboro. He is attending Louisiana Baptist University where he will graduate in 2013 with a BA in Biblical Arts and Divinity.

The bride is the daughter of the late Donie and Eleather Vinson of the St. John community in Hertford County. She is attending Roanoke-Chowan Community College where she will graduate in 2013 with an Associates degree in Criminal justice.
