AT 2 PM EDT…1800Z…THE TROPICAL STORM WARNING FROM APALACHICOLA FLORIDA WESTWARD IS DISCONTINUED. A TROPICAL STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM EAST OF APALACHICOLA TO THE MOUTH OF THE SUWANNEE RIVER.
AT 2 PM EDT…1800Z…THE POORLY DEFINED CENTER OF TROPICAL STORM BONNIE WAS ESTIMATED NEAR LATITUDE 30.1 NORTH…LONGITUDE
84.0 WEST OR ABOUT 30 MILES SOUTHEAST OF TALLAHASSEE FLORIDA.
BONNIE IS MOVING TOWARD THE EAST-NORTHEAST NEAR 28 MPH.
A TURN MORE TO THE NORTHEAST IS EXPECTED TODAY.
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS HAVE DECREASED TO NEAR 40 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS. WEAKENING IS FORECAST AND BONNIE IS EXPECTED TO BECOME EXTRATROPICAL LATER TODAY OR TONIGHT.
TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS EXTEND OUTWARD UP TO 70 MILES MAINLY OVER WATER TO THE SOUTHEAST OF THE CENTER.
ESTIMATED MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE IS 1005 MB…29.68 INCHES.
COASTAL STORM SURGE FLOODING OF 2 TO 5 FEET ABOVE NORMAL TIDE LEVELS…ALONG WITH LARGE AND DANGEROUS BATTERING WAVES…IS NOW OCCURRING NEAR AND TO THE RIGHT OF THE CENTER.
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF 4 TO 6 INCHES…WITH ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS…CAN BE EXPECTED IN ASSOCIATION WITH BONNIE.
ISOLATED TORNADOES ARE ALSO POSSIBLE ALONG THE PATH AND TO THE EAST OF BONNIE.
