Ola Barrett

Ola Mae Johnson Barrett, 89, of Seaboard died Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at the Sterling House in Rocky Mount.
Born in the Creeksville community, she was retired as the Veteran Service Officer of Northampton County. She was a member of Creeksville Baptist Church where she served as Sunday school teacher, YWA leader and a Deacon.
Survivors include her sister, Rachael J. Bryant of Maggie Valley; two step-sons, Thomas Barrett and Bennie Barrett, both of Seaboard; a step-daughter, Vickie Tuggle of Waxhaw; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 3 p.m. at Saturday, May 15 at Creeksville Baptist Church with the Rev. Andy Sloan officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Massey Funeral Home, Jackson.
