Cynthia Laree Conwell Walker, 61, of Greensboro died Saturday, April 24, 2010 Wesley Long Community Hospital, Greensboro.
Born in Northampton County, she was formerly of Rich Square. She was a retired Culinary Arts Worker from Lucille’s Kitchen in Rich Square and a member of Willow Oak AME Church, Rich Square
Survivors include her husband, Douglass Walker of the home; a daughter, Bridgette Brown of Yorktown, Va.; a brother, Lorenza Conwell of Greensboro; two sisters, Dorna Stover of Camden, Conn. and Arleen Mitchell of Greensboro; and three grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 1 at Willow Oak AME Church, Rich Square, with Rev. Tracy Tann officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
Wilder’s Funeral Home Inc., Rich Square, is handling the arrangements.
