Lucy Boone, 84, of Silver Springs, Md. died Wednesday, March 3, 2010.
She was a native of Hertford County.
Her survivors include three brothers, Walter Robert Boone of Palm Coast, Fla., Leroy Boone of Ahoskie and Stewart Boone of Brooklyn, NY; and two sisters, Emma King of Durham and Anne Lambert of East Providence, RI.
A funeral will be held at 12 noon on Monday, March 8 at Phillipi Baptist Church, Cofield, with the Rev. Charlie Carter officiating. Burial will take place in church cemetery.
A viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, March 7 at Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel, Ahoskie.
