Mrs. Lois Vann Mathis, age 70, of Ahoskie died Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
Survivors include her children: Theresa Poindexter and Dallas Earl Howard Jr., both of Woodland, and Kenneth Raymond Howard of Ahoskie; three sisters, Linda Duke of Milwaukee, Peggy Barnes and Jane Daughtry, both of Murfreesboro; two brothers, Elmer Vann of Ahoskie and Wayne Vann of Florida; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday, February 22, 2010 at all God’s Children Methodist Church in Aulander with the Rev. Laura Early officiating. Burial followed at Aulander Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Massey Funeral Home in Aulander.
