Stephen Roy Blowe

MENOLA – Stephen Roy Blowe, age 54, passed away Monday, July 2, 2012 at his home.

Stephen was born in Hertford County on January 22, 1958, a son of the late J. Robert Blowe and Elizabeth Britt Blowe.  He was a member of Menola Baptist Church and was a former supervisor at the Resinal Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Jessica Blowe of Suffolk, VA; his son, Ryan Blowe of Suffolk, VA; a brother, Bobby Blowe of Clayton, NC; and two grandchildren, Rhi’yanna Lassiter and Chayce Stallworth.

A celebration of life service will be conducted on Monday, July 9 at 2:00 p.m. at Garrett-Jones Funeral Home in Ahoskie with Rev. Cecil Harkey officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. prior to services.
