Rudolph Jordan

Rudolph Fernando Jordan, 95, of Gliden Road, Hobbsville, died Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Britthaven of Edenton.
Born in Chowan County, he was a retired farmer and saw mill operator and a member and deacon of Ballard’s Bridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sallie Marie Taylor Jordan; a sister, Nina Byrum of Tyner; and two brothers, Graydon Jordan of Greenville and Eugene Jordan of Tyner.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 3 at Ballard’s Bridge Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Parr officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the home of Eugene and Vivian Jordan, 402 Sign Pine Road, Tyner.
