Henry C. Eure, 69, of Gates died Saturday, December 12, 2009 at Southampton Memorial Hospital. Franklin, Va.
A native of Gates County, he was retired from Union Camp in Franklin, Va. and a member of Stoney Branch Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Jerome Brown of New York; a brother, Hallard T. Green of Portsmouth, Va. and a sister, Eula Mae Eure of Gates.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 17 at Stoney Branch Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Boone Jr. officiating. Burial will take place in the Eure Family Cemetery.
