Frank Norman Harris, 66, of Como died Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A native of Southampton County, Va., he was retired as a pipe fitter for Norfolk Naval Shipyard and a member of Diamond Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Viola Harris of the home; two daughters, Gloria McCreary and Katrina Harris, both of Como; a son, Frank Harris Jr. of Como; his mother, Annie Parker of Murfreesboro; two sisters, Gwendolyn Marshall of Rocky Mount and Arna Louise Scott of Murfreesboro; and three grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25 at Diamond Grove Baptist Church, Franklin, Va. with the Rev. Clarence Myrick officiating. Burial will take place in
Carver Park Cemetery, Murfreesboro.
