Bettie Lou Leary, 58, of Quebec Road, Colerain, died Monday, October 12, 2009 at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie.
A native of Bertie County, she was a member of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Colerain, and was employed at Allied Brake Company.
Survivors include three sons, Daryl Tann, Sherwin Tann and Gregory Leary all of Paterson, NJ; a daughter, Lisa Leary of Paterson, NJ; two brothers, Frank Freeman of Ahoskie and Carroll Leary of Paterson, NJ; four sisters, Bessie Mitchell, Helen Leary and Bertha Leary all of Paterson, NJ and Mary Alice Bond of Colerain; seven grandchildren and a great grandchild.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17 at Wilder’s Funeral Home Chapel, Rich Square. Burial will take place in the Harrell Family Cemetery, Colerain.
