Ms. Ella Mae Hall Vinson, age 87, of Winton, NC died Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital.
Ms. Vinson was born Dec. 23, 1921, the daughter of the late William Andrew Hall and Lula Mae Liverman Hall. She was a member of Winton Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children, Elliott Lee Vinson Jr. of Sunfield, Mich., Robert Eugene Vinson and his wife, Kay, of Winton, Gloria Jean Vinson Thum and Linda Marie Vinson Jernigan and her husband, Steve, all of Murfreesboro, and Rebecca Irene Vinson Davidson and her husband, Joey, of Colerain; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held, Friday, August 21, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Winton Baptist Church with the Rev. Joseph Futrell officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the home of her son, Robert Vinson in Winton.
Memorial contributions may be made to Winton Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
